...imagine my surprise tonight when browsing through the latest issue of Lucky when what do I see in the shopping report but WILMINGTON, DE. I would imagine most people reading Lucky think, "Hmmmmm, DE, what's that short for?"
Apparently, a new boutique, Lolita, opened up there last fall offering the latest and greatest in fashion. I immediately thought I must know the owners, since everyone who lives or has lived in Delaware knows everyone who lives or has lived in Delaware.
I have to admit, I was a bit insulted at the first paragraph, which stated, "Delaware has long suffered a lack of truly great boutiques..."
Um, hello? The great pink sequined prom dress of 1996 was bought in Delaware. And the shoes were dyed in Delaware! If this is not the height of fashion, I don't know what is.

Stapling Girl Scout badges is so much worse than say, gluing them, because with gluing, no tell tale metal lines. Mrs.Kirk is making Mrs. Planting look like Betty Crocker.

If Velcro had been in greater use then, just imagine how easy life would have been.....

Matching shoes+lots of leg= HOT!
Now I feel like I need to go to Wilmington to visit that store. Just visit, of course. Not shop or anything... ;)
