...there was a day in my life when a compliment would be, "I like your outfit" or "You look really skinny" or "God, you are so smart, Laura!"
But today I realized how much my life has changed. We took Charlie to the doctor for some congestion and had him weighed for the first time in a month. He has gained THREE pounds. And the compliment the doctor gave me?
"You're a good cow!"
Moo.

moo on, cow.

LOL! OH LAURA! It is an appt you'll never forget...not ever!
I think I'd rather be a cow than a truck port.
When our second child was born....my OB said to me in the delivery room...."You have a pelvis you could drive a truck through." Even in my post-delivery euphoria....I thought....I'm pretty certain that's a compliment I'll never forget. And I haven't.

Too funny. I had a speech therapist who was working with my son describe him as "well loved". I will never forget that one!

Congrats! LOL When my son was born he spent the 1st 7 weeks in the NICU. I pumped & holy moly I was such a milk cow that the nurses nicknamed me Elsie! When Alex was 3 weeks old they asked me to stop putting my milk in their freezer for awhile because some of the other mothers were feeling badly because I had too much. LOL So I second that mooooooo back atcha!
