...I am going to see you in less than 40 hours. Mommy told me that when she and daddy were dating, she used to count the showers until she saw daddy again. I just had a bath tonight, and there are NO MORE BATHS until I see you again. That makes me feel like this:
...Today there were lots of people here for a visit. Good friends of mommy and daddy and their babies, who were much bigger than me. And for a few minutes I was glad you were at grandma and grandpa's, because I got all the attention and all the rubs.
...Then I remembered how much I love you and realized there are enough rubs and pats to share.
...today I turned 13 weeks and three months. I've never been good at math, so if you can figure that out, let me know.
I decided to celebrate the day by pulling myself up and rolling over. Mommy was amazed (as evidenced by her silly comments throughout). Apparently I did it the other day for my grandmother, but mom's philosophy is similar to that of "if a tree falls in a forest..." - if she was not here to see it, it must not have happened at all.
I know rolling over isn't a big deal to you, but I thought you might be proud of me.
...they told me not to tell you, but you know, we are BFFs, so I have to tell you everything. Both mommy and daddy had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for dinner. Your favorite. They both were a little sad though that they didn't have someone to give a spoonful of peanut butter to. I offered to take it for you, but for some reason they didn't understand me.
