...One of the biggest changes in the last seven months has been my pop culture knowledge. I read People every week and would say I understand approximately 65 percent of it (and that includes the feel good hero of the year stories). For example:
- I had no idea that Oprah quit. (Can't say I really cared either. Don't hate me.)
- I have a vague sense that something happened to Tiger Woods (and I know that there aren't many good things that happen at 2:30 a.m.)
- I started to really like that song on the radio that went, "Put my hands up they're playing my song and the butterflys fly away." I found myself singing along every time it came on, thinking I needed to download it so Charlie and I could dance around to it. Then I realized it was by Miley Cyrus and suddenly I felt old. Very, very old.
It's OK. He's worth it.
