When I change his diaper, I feel like I'm changing the diaper of a teenager and I say, "Charlie, you are far too old to be wearing a diaper. What will the other sophomores in high school say?" And then I see him from across the room and remember it's all about perspective. Because he is still so very, very little, but so very, very big compared to our little Clara.
He has a new food. Cheese! Oh Charlie, cheese is a wonderful thing and I'm so happy you have welcomed it into your small food repertoire. May it fill your life with joy as it has mine.
Is just the sweetest, funniest little man. He will dance for you, laugh at himself, and blow kisses on command to his sister. It's like he was always a big brother. Or always meant to be one.
