...now that the floors have been chosen, faucets finalized (at least for today) and kitchen cabinets ordered, all that's left to do is find that damn money tree.
...and decorate.
Clara's room only has one window so I want to keep it as light as possible (although she does have one in her closet...we will be adding a deadbolt to that as she enters the teenage years).
My pinterest board for ideas:
Ken's mom is saving me and sewing some bunting and pillows for the window seat. Because if I did it, it would look like a home economics project gone very, very wrong.

A window in the closet? Wow! Says the girl who doesn't have a window in any of the three bathrooms in her house! I am officially jealous of an infants room :)

I think my husband might have to ban me from your Pinterest boards! We made an alternative to the kids toothbrush set and it's working. Brian loves his little blue cup to rinse with after brushing his teeth. Can not wait to see the end result for Clara's room - she is one lucky little girl!!

I'm volunteering Mom for a window treatment too. Ha! She did a wonderful job in my house :)

I'm looking for the money tree too. Let me know when you find it.

The thing I miss the VERY most when I'm not working is the feeling I get when I complete a task (especially a difficult task) and someone tells me I've done a good job. There's not a whole lot of people that tell you you're doing a good job as a momma. So let me just say this, "Laura, I think you are doing a great job'!

Oh, and P.S. For that window in the closet ... get those curtains that block out the light. Trust me on this ... otherwise, the clothes in the closet (and anything else stored there) will fade ... dramatically.

A window in her closet! Wow! She would definitely enjoy choosing clothes because the air coming in. It's a smart idea. How old is she? I've checked the Pinterest, and these options for her room would make her jump for joy once it's done.
