...we are on day two of post-tonsillectomy recovery

...and I have to say, if I never hear the Thomas theme song again, I think I'd be OK. Although I've already decided it will be the mother-son song at his wedding.

All those Treehouse theme songs bore their way into your brain and they NEVER COME AGAIN! My daughter is currently enamoured with Max and Ruby and it grates on my nerves so much. I was out at the grocery store by myself for 10 minutes a few days ago and that @#$% song was running through my head. Couldn't stop it!

Still, when they're hurting (and even when they're not, really) what ever makes them happy, right?

Rest assured that the Thomas theme song love does end. But others do take their place. We are doing the Hula Baloola around here.

I used to think the same way about that song, now my son is almost 15...but my littlest guy is still into Thomas, so the song plays on...glad Charlie is recovering well, btw, gorgeous photo of the two of you :)
