Ever since I learned how to spell that word I love typing it.

The reasons for my hallelujah! After TWO months, I can finally post photos directly into my blog posts again (which means you can also click on them to enlarge).

So today I will bring you even more paint photos. I love going home at night and actually seeing the change. It's huge. Someday I'll share the before photos in hopes that the old owners run across my blog. Bright blue. Murder red. It was fugly. Still some work to do (the painters are there all week), but you get the point.

...and I'm back again

This house is going to be beautiful. Really and truly beautiful. But right now it's hard to see that. (And I apologize for the wonky photos - I haven't resolved my issues with typepad yet and everything's being uploaded from smugmug).

Yesterday I came home and the painters had started the downstairs. They are painting EVERYTHING in site. I wanted to hug them. I wanted to kiss them. A similar feeling I had for the hardwood floor man earlier this week. Here is the dining room with the refinished floors:

And here is Charmer devouring the bone sent from sweet Miss Hanni. Hanni, she wouldn't even pose with it, she gobbled it up in two bites. Ken was like, "take the picture, fast!"

If I owe you an email...I apologize...If I've been a bad friend...I apologize...Life is starting to take on some normalcy and I can't wait to get back in the swing of things. I love you all. :)

...where the party's at...

Celebrate Fontwerks' birthday with Melissa today...Our runner extraordinaire.

In other life news: We are officially moved. Hardwood floors re-done. Painters start on Monday. It'll finally feel like ours. Except for all those darn brown boxes.

Funniest part? My scrapbook room officially had more boxes than the kitchen. Nice.
